| I've always enjoyed his artwork. The strange characters, dark figures and grotesque physiques make them so much more horror effective. I really enjoy that he does extensive ink work with vivid colors. They're always so comic book like and cartoony. Makes it awesome to see. | |

| I've always loved RZ's artwork. I used to spend hours staring at the work in Astro-Creep and Hellbilly Deluxe as I listened to the albums and took it all in. I was a very little kid and always loved to draw anyway..so I started re-drawing some of the art in the booklets, sometimes adding my own little spin. I could copy some of those perfectly...not tracing...just drawing from memory. It was fun.
His art is dark, but I think if it more as just crazy cartoon monsters and like an LSD trip more so than dark.
The Beavis and Butthead Do America sequence was amazing too by the way!

| I love Rob's artwork. In fact, in high school, I developed a style very similar to his. Not at that caliber, of course, but a dumbed-down, plainer version of his style. What I like most about his artwork is the creativity. I mean, how does a mind come up with some of those crazy characters?
Like Tragedy666 said... I used to just sit and stare at the WZ booklets. It's a shame that Rob doesn't include his artwork in the album booklets anymore. Hellbilly Deluxe 2 will be the last physical CD release of his and it's going to include the artwork of an artist who Rob admires. Shame.

I agree it is a shame that we won't see any of his artwork in the upcoming album hopefully he changes his mind about the physical release thing and does select limited number releases. By the way welcome to the forum.

| Of all his releases, the artwork and cover of "American Made Music to Strip By" was my favorite, for obvious reasons.... | |

We just added a new artwork area of the forum for users to post their things. So don't be shy, I'm interested. - gunsofnavarone wrote:
